wait…you slice open the gut cavity without puncturing the intestines. then leave them in? or take them out? what?? why edit that out?

right on ira, thanks. just got talked into buying a whole copper river salmon by the guy at the fish counter. now i can fix it up right instead of butchering it too badly. should be delicious with an ice cold pacifico!
